DESCRIPTION:Springville Center for the Arts seeks to add a full-time Perfor
 ming Arts Director to our team who will manage music performances\, coordi
 nate our theater program\, work with interns and guest artists during our 
 summer youth programs\, and help to craft special events or touring progra
 ms.\n\nDUTIES\n\nPerforming Arts Presentations: Provide artistic direction
 \, technical support\, event management\, and marketing related to concert
 s at our venues.\n\nTheater Programs: Work with Theater Committee voluntee
 rs to produce a season of shows. Manage theater spaces and other assets su
 ch as props\, costumes\, or tools.\n\nSummer Youth Programs: Select and ma
 nage summer interns and guest artists to participate in youth workshops an
 d performing arts productions.\n\nSpecial Events: Produce performing arts 
 content at special events such as Art Crawl\, Bootleg Soiree\, or the Arts
 apalooza touring show.\n\nGeneral Administrative duties that are shared in
 clude staffing box office hours\, researching funding\, work on sponsorshi
 ps and creating reports.\n\nCandidates may come from a broad variety of ba
 ckgrounds and those most likely to succeed have a long-term interest in th
 e arts\, experience in a nonprofit working environment\, and/or event mana
 gement. SCA has a small team and this position requires a person who is a 
 self-starter and able to work with many different types of volunteers. The
 y should have the ability to multi-task and adjust to seasonal or event-re
 lated fluctuations in workload. The position requires attendance at many w
 eekend and evening programs. Long distance travel or working from home won
 ’t lead to success. Learning is expected.\n\nReview our Strategic Plans
