Springville Center for the Arts has aquired the building at 3 East Main St. in Springville, NY which adjoins the very successful Art's Cafe.

This acquisition is being developed into an expanded retail space for local artists called 'Artisans at East Main' to display and sell their creations, as well as expanding the seating at Art's Cafe and make room for more artistic and educational events to serve the community as a whole.

Everyone will benefit in a truly synergistic opportunity, making seeing fine artistic wares a signature of visiting downtown Springville with this corner property and highly desired location!

Goals of the Shop:

  • To provide a permanent expanded space for artists sell their work adjacent to Art’s Cafe

  • Have a year-round retail presence of art in downtown Springville

  • To be able to feature local artisans at different times/themes throughout the year with a center piece display

  •  To be able to provide each artist with a select space to display their themes, collections, or signature pieces

  • To provide a classroom space to host workshops for artists and community members on additional skills for promoting their art and organizing their arts businesses, such as how to manage inventory, bookkeeping, self-promotion and more.

  • Provide the community with a rentable incubator kitchen space for classes and food product development.

  • To expand seating for Art’s Cafe and encourage people to experience the arts space for a longer time period

If items are not selling, or I have seasonal items, can I switch them out?

Yes, by coordinating with staff. Seasonal items are recommended to be on display 1 – 2 months before the actual season. Example: Christmas items need to be delivered to the shop by November 1st for optimal timing of sales.
