Niagara Frontier Plein Air Painters (NFPAP) are a group of artists dedicated to promoting the outdoor painting experience. Members share a common bond of choosing to explore the diversity of the Buffalo Niagara Region in Western New York through art by drawing and painting the landscape on location. Painting outdoors holds an important place in the American art tradition. Their hope is to call attention to the natural beauty of our region and to its rich historical, agricultural, and industrial heritage.

Featured artists include Barbara Fox, Sharon Fundalinski, Jennifer Koury, Kathy McDonnell, Dan McGrath, Cary Moscato, Martha Rogala, Kath Schifano, Joan Shaw, and Peggy Walker.

The Buffalo Society of Artists Catalogue Exhibition is flagship annual juried art show hosted by one of the country’s oldest continually operating arts organizations. It features contemporary regional works across diverse media created by its exhibiting members, competing for awards. The 130th Catalogue Exhibition celebrating the 135th year of the Buffalo Society of Artists is juried by Ellen Owens who is the Executive Director at the American Visionary Museum. Please join us for the opening on October 9th with awards held at 7 pm.

The NY and CA Chapters of VIEW FINDERS, curated by Bonita Chimes, will be presenting their photographic interpretation of “Shades of Gray.” All photographs have been taken as viewed “through the lens” and have not been digitally manipulated. VIEW FINDERS, established in 1994, has been an on-going adventurous group of amateur and professional photographers throughout WNY and in Northern CA. This is their 24th consecutive show.
