June 2nd – August 29th | Art’s Cafe
This exhibit showcases artwork in a variety of mediums from our amazing community of arts supporters. Artists of all backgrounds and experience levels have the opportunity to exhibit their work at the cafe gallery. Get a peak into the kind of art our local Springville artists make!

If you are interested in having a solo or group show at Art’s Cafe, or our Olmsted Gallery, please email ScaAlisia@gmail.com with a description of your proposed show and images of the artwork. We typically book shows a year in advance so please keep this in mind when you send your proposal.

We are currently seeking work by Randall Grimm for a future exhibit. If you are in possession of a Randall Grimm piece and would be willing to display it in a gallery show, please reach out to scaalisia@gmail.com.

September 8th – October 17th

Niagara Frontier Plein Air Painters (NFPAP) presents Painting Journeys at Art’s Cafe. Featured artists include Barbara Fox, Sharon Fundalinski, Jennifer Koury, Kathy McDonnell, Dan McGrath, Cary Moscato, Martha Rogala, Kath Schifano, Joan Shaw, and Peggy Walker.

This jazz night will feature vocalists Lydia Herren, Kelly Ann Campbell, Holly Haddad, Judy Wright, and more for a special “Girls Night Out.”

Got a song you’re working on? Song Circle is a relaxed, supportive space to share your music, get feedback, and try out new ideas.

Great Aunt is a band for all tastes! Combining folk, bluegrass, with a little bit of punk, soul, and rock too. Check them out at the cafe on Sept. 19th!

September 26th | 10am

Students will explore symmetry in our environment. Creating art together using found objects or nature, they will learn breathing techniques and make mandalas. With Kristin Brandt.

Mining the caverns of the old weird America, WNY native Brad Robbins of Strangest Acres weaves a canvas of original and traditional song.

He’s back! Aleksi performed at the cafe in 2023 and is returning for a 2nd time.

October 3rd | 10am

Create a galaxy while following a step-by-step guide! Students will learn different painting techniques such as sponge, brush and splatter, and generally how to use acrylic paint. With Kelly Betschen.

A weekly evening of jazz standards from the 40’s to the present, selections from the Great American Songbook, and a touch of Latin too.  With a rotating group of musicians.

October 10th | 10am

Students will express their culture through clay by learning the science of pottery, hand building techniques, and historical decorative applications to create their visual autobiography. With Cassondra Argero.

Benny Bleu has been a favorite to watch on the Art’s Cafe stage either solo at Folk Night or in the bluegrass group The Brother’s Blue. He’s returning with a new quartet configuration titled under his name!

Students will learn how to harness the power of any camera through shooting basics like standard camera settings, framing photographs, or lighting. With Laura Chenault.

The NY and CA Chapters of VIEW FINDERS, curated by Bonita Chimes, will be presenting their photographic interpretation of “Shades of Grey.” All photographs have been taken as viewed “through the lens” and have not been digitally manipulated. VIEW FINDERS, established in 1994, has been an on-going adventurous group of amateur and professional photographers throughout WNY and in Northern CA. This is their 24th consecutive show.
