Elijah Wochensky is a 17-year-old hobby photographer from Springville. He recently took a cross-country road trip where he captured both landscapes and street scenes, often on-the-fly or at the end of a long hike. His reception will be at the cafe on March 6th at 6:30pm!
This drop-off creativity program for ages 2 through 5 takes the Reggio Emilia approach of “process over product.” Kids explore open-ended arts activities at their own pace, with the guidance of instructors.

April 11th | 10am – Noon | Art’s Cafe | $100 / $90 members
Learn the basics of cinema with the classic, old-school home film format; Super 8mm. The class session will cover exposure, lens use, planning shot sequences, and cinema language. Each participant will borrow a camera to shoot a single cartridge using in-camera editing. A group screening will be scheduled later. The class includes film and process but does not include transfer to a digital medium. This is 100% analog. With Seth Wochensky.
“Painted Presence” is an exhibit of paintings that employ the use of deliberate mark-marking, careful layering,
and rich color to reflect an intentional process-driven style of painting. A reception will be held on April 15th from 6:30-8pm at Art’s Cafe.
Bring a song you have written or are working on. Share with others. With the hopes of continuing to build a community of songwriters, Nick Kody from Kody & Herren will host this monthly get-together. The group will meet at the cafe main stage with new featured songwriters each month, with Beave Sorensen in April!
