Learn the Italian or Spanish languages or improve your conversation skills at these weekly drop-in classes on Thursdays at Art’s Cafe. Italian runs noon-1pm & Spanish runs 1-2pm.

The group meets the 2nd and final Thursday of each month at Art’s Cafe from 2-3pm.

At a Silent Book Club there’s no assigned reading, but we do like to share book recommendations and meet other book-loving people. Meeting on the last Wednesday’s of the month from January – May.

Bring printed copies of your work, or a copy to read from! 2/11 – 5/13

“Painted Presence” is an exhibit of paintings that employ the use of deliberate mark-marking, careful layering,
and rich color to reflect an intentional process-driven style of painting. A reception will be held on April 15th from 6:30-8pm at Art’s Cafe.

Bring a photo of a house or building (your own or one that you find interesting). Paint it into a landscape using watercolor. With Eric Tuberdyke.

Enjoy a Mother’s Day brunch at Art’s Cafe on Sunday, May 10th with special performance by Abigayle Oakley – a 3 chair turn star featured on this season of NBC’s The Voice.

The evening will start out with poetics as a lecture, featuring some of JB Stone’s finest poems both for the stage and page, followed by a series of writing prompts that will give audience members a chance to generate their own work.

A weekly evening of jazz standards from the 40’s to the present, selections from the Great American Songbook, and
a touch of Latin too.

From raging fiddle tunes, to saxophone solos and unrequited love songs, the music of The Faux Paws would be hard to pin down with standard genre descriptions.

Bring a song you have written or are working on. Share with others. With the hopes of continuing to build a community of songwriters, Nick Kody from Kody & Herren will host this monthly get-together. The group will meet at the cafe main stage with new featured songwriters each month.
