Some have described Tom Irish as a folk artist. Others, as an outsider artist. Tom says he prefers “savant.” But to truly understand
his art, you must see it for yourself. Irish’s work delves into the world around him. Capturing what he sees – the good, bad, and ugly. A Vietnam veteran, Irish has seen and experienced things some will never have to. You may only catch glimpses into his reality through drawings done on the frontlines, paintings exploring the repercussions of war, and pieces that view Springville as it is and used to be.
