Bruce Morrell is a Western New York artist primarily known for his wildlife and tromp l’oeil paintings. After graduating from East Aurora High School, Bruce studied at Erie Community College South, Buffalo State College, and privately with well known Buffalo, NY painter John Yerger at Partners in Art, Tonawanda, NY. Bruce is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing and hiking. He is often found observing, sketching, and photographing native birds, fish, and flora in the Western New York region. He currently resides and maintains his studio in Colden, NY.
