Learn More About this Mural:
In this mural, you will see a scene shown from an insect’s point of view, including microscopy images of a bee, moth, spider, and pollen. These images were referenced from the microscopy work that occurs inside the building where the mural was painted. We can see how beautiful “weeds” such as Queen Anne’s Lace and thistle look from a different point of view. The bugs are engaged in activities that are characteristically human, such as reading and playing a violin. This mural invites us to imagine how things can appear differently once you change your perspective!
