Location: M&T Parking Lot

Learn More About this Mural:

Nghi To (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) spent eleven weeks in Springville as part of an internship and residency program. While here, she designed puppets, worked with children, and installed public art such as this piece. This mural was created with the active cycling culture of Springville in mind. She explains: “It illustrates the curiosities and wonders that can be found on a Sunday morning bike ride in hopes of bringing positive energy and brightness to this little pocket of the community.” The mural also features ao dai (pronounced ao yai), the Vietnamese traditional garment that the cyclist is wearing as a celebration of the artist’s Vietnamese roots.
