Join fiber artist Mary Ann Fritz to learn the art of shibori. Shibori is a Japanese manual dyeing technique used on textiles to create patterns that spread unevenly across the fabric. The resulting patterns are often emblematic of Japan’s appreciation of the beauty of imperfection – known locally as wabi sabi. You will learn multiple ways of folding and tying your shibori. Bring whatever cotton items you wish to dye!
